At Plantable, we have been crafting seeded paper by hand for ten years. We blend non-GMO seeds sourced from the UK with recycled pulp paper and a touch of recycled cotton to create the finest seeded paper available. Our commitment to sustainability, combined with the use of living seeds, results in a beautifully finished product with a substantial 300gsm uncoated texture. This paper is ideal for a variety of users, including aspiring home crafters, designers, and commercial printers

We used to print on a lot of virgin paper, we made the change to only use 100% recycled stocks and then discovered we can add stuff to the paper and with some adjustments to our printing machines we can use them to print on a paper that has a few bumps. So we played around at home, and hey presto plantable papers, paper was born.
After several disappointments, we settled on a DIY approach. We made sure we didn’t just pack the paper out with boring grass seed. We tested paper, we grow it, we had our chirlden, our grand children grow it.
