Wildflower Seed Paper Business Cards

Every one of our business cards carries the potential to grow a wildflower garden. Each card is packed with pollinator-friendly wildflower seeds and is 100% biodegradable. Inside each card, you will find a special selection of seeds: native California poppies, which are the state flower; blue-eyed grass (at least we think it’s grass); and forget-me-nots.

How to Grow Your Plantable Business Cards

Make sure to include a “call to plant” on your business card design. This makes it clear to the recipient that they can plant their card after its intended use. The critical steps to successfully growing the seed paper are as follows.

Tear your seed paper business card into small pieces. Give your seed paper a quick soak in water to loosen the paper fibers. Plant under roughly a 2cm of soil in March for the current season or September for the following Spring. Or grow indoors, use cling film and grow in a tupa wear. Water at least once a day. You should begin to notice small sprouts in about 7-14 days! (or 3-5 if cling filmed)

Creating Your Seed Paper Business Cards… We can print anything you want on our business cards. Even though our business was built on the principle of using “green” paper, we can offer you full-color printing. We just think it looks best with a design using ‘negative space’ so that awesome seeded paper shows through.

Our cards are very interactive. You can get them printed on one side, two sides, or with a QR code. We don’t really recommend using solid dark background colours flooding the whole sheet as it kinda defeats the object of using such a paper but also because of the seeds can also look a bit strange…

Our paper is handmade and then hand finished so though we like to think every order leaves us perfect.. some times there is a little movement by 1mm or so… so if you have a boarder around your artwork… maybe think about loosing it.
