Genuinely growable
Seeds sit through the full sheet, not sprayed on the surface. Treat it right at the printing stage and it grows.
How to print seed paper without killing the seeds
The one rule: heat kills seeds. How you print decides whether your paper grows.
Inkjet — ideal
Any home or office inkjet. Set the media type to heavyweight matte or cardstock, use the rear or straight-through feed if your printer has one, and feed a sheet at a time. Zero heat, full germination.
Digital press — with care
Low-heat digital machines with dry toner can work. Run the coolest fuser setting your press allows and test a sheet first: the hotter the fuser, the more seed damage and the lower the grow rate.
Hot laser / litho — avoid
Standard office lasers and heat-set processes run fusers hot enough to cook the seeds. The print will look fine; nothing will grow. If that’s your only kit, let us print it for you instead.

Storage: keep sheets flat, cool and dry, out of direct sun. For the best germination, print and plant within twelve months — the seeds are alive, and freshness matters.

Will it jam my printer?
It’s 300gsm handmade stock, so treat it like thick card: rear or straight-path feed, one sheet at a time, heavyweight media setting. Most inkjets handle it happily set up like that.
Can I use a laser printer?
We don’t recommend it. Laser fusers run hot enough to damage or kill the seeds — the sheet prints, but germination suffers badly. Inkjet at home, or send us the artwork and we’ll print it cool.
Wildflower or poppy — what grows?
The wildflower mix grows a bee-friendly spread of blooms; the poppy paper grows poppies alone. Same paper, same price, same planting instructions.
Are the edges trimmed?
Sheets are guillotined square to size. If you’d like a deckled handmade edge left on for craft work, add a note at checkout.
