Leave a card nobody bins
Standard 85 × 55mm cards on 300gsm handmade seed paper — thick, tactile, and flecked with visible seeds. Hand one over and it starts a conversation; when the contact’s saved, it gets planted, not landfilled. Printed with cool-running inkjet so the seeds arrive alive.
From 5 cards
Order a handful for an event or a thousand for the whole team. No minimums worth mentioning.
300gsm handmade stock
Proper business-card weight with a soft, textured finish. Every sheet is hand-dried, so no two cards are identical.
Checked by a human
A real person opens every file before print. Anything off — resolution, bleed, tiny text — and we email you first.
Supplying your artwork
PDF is best; a sharp JPEG or PNG works. Build to 85 × 55mm with 3mm bleed all round (91 × 61mm), keep text 5mm inside the trim, 300dpi.
| Item | Trim size | With 3mm bleed | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business card | 85 × 55mm | 91 × 61mm | Landscape or portrait — just build it the way you want it |
Design tip for seed paper: bold type and generous logos look superb; keep body text at 8pt or larger and avoid edge-to-edge solid floods — the handmade texture prints colour softer than coated card, which is exactly the charm.
Seeded business cards, answered
How thick are the cards?
300gsm handmade seed paper — a proper substantial card with visible seeds pressed into the sheet.
Double sided?
Yes, choose Double Sided above. We sense-check heavy double-sided coverage during the human check so the sheet stays crisp.
Will they grow?
Yes — cool inkjet printing keeps the seeds viable. Plant under 5mm of compost, keep moist and bright; shoots in 2–4 weeks.
How fast is delivery?
Order by 11am on a working day and it’s dispatched for next working day delivery, £7.99, UK only.
Can you match my brand colours?
Closely — but uncoated handmade paper prints softer and warmer than a screen. If a colour is critical, run a small proof quantity first.
